Pin Cushion

Description

A symmetrical patterned Pin Cushion hand stitched in tapestry wools onto cotton tapestry canvas. In the centre of the Pin Cushion is a plain deep maroon coloured square. Then spinning out from the corners of the square, in brown, light gray and peach, are four panels of hand stitching. The design is finished with a border of brown stitching. The reserve side of the Pin Cushion is made from a piece of extremely pale green cotton fabric. The pin cushion is stuffed with hypo allergic polyester hollow fibre. This filling complies with the Furniture and Furnishing (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988. Approximate size 3inches (7.cm) by 3inch (7.5cm)
