Sewing Needle Case made from vintage fabrics
د.م.7.00
Description
This sewing needle case has been created from a small piece of vintage green striped cotton fabric. Onto this fabric I have appliquéd a black nylon lace mofit with black sequins and a single white bead. The lining is also created from a piece of vintage material in a navy blue and white floral pattern. Onto this lining are two white felt pockets sewn with navy blue embroidery thread and each one has also been decorated with an appliqué mofit of black nylon lace. These two pockets are great for holding cards of buttons or full packets of sewing needles. There are four pages or leaves to pin your sewing needles and pins into. Two of the pages have been created from white cotton crossing stitching aida. These white pages are for the larger darning or cross stitching needles which tend to be thicker/fatter than most sewing needles. They will also hold sewing machine needles. Normal hand sewing needles and dress making pins have two pages of blue felt they can be pinned into. The case does up with a lighter blue and white cotton material buttonhole loop and a vintage black button. Approximate size: 5inches (12.5cm) long by 3.5inches (8.8cm)
